I've been searching for a good place to get a quick oil change here in Howell since moving here less than a year ago, and this is not it. What a disaster.
First, in the bay next to me, they let the guy drive off with the tire air hose still in his rear tire, almost pulling out the entire hose from the shop. Next, the tech dropped his bit into my engine bay. Finally, they had a double gasket on my oil filter when they had me start it up, so oil leaked everywhere and they needed to add more oil and were unsure how much needed to be added. Didn't even properly do the dip stick when they did the final test, and I was so done at that point.
And, I asked for the best oil and filter they have, giving me full synthetic, but I get 3000 miles on my sticker? They apparently don't carry good oil. I used to get Castrol Edge and a premium filter which would give me 10k miles. Then I have been doing Mobile One, which is 6k. I haven't gotten a 3000 mile oil sticker in probably 10 years.
On top of that, they want your phone and email for 2-4 text messages a month. Required in order to get the rebate they offer.
Lied on receipt. Did not reset engine oil light.
Probably one of the worst experiences I have had at an oil change shop.

I won't go anywhere else for an oil change. The guys here are great. Friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and honest. They always do a great job

Got a full synthetic oil change. Mike and another guy whose name I forgot were awesome. Answered questions quickly and politely, I asked them to check the cabin air filter and they did (which takes some work on my car). They had one in stock and swapped it out for me. They thanked me for my military service. I kind of expect an oil change to be a neutral experience, but this Victory Lane pretty consistently seems to deliver a positive experience and very good customer service.
