This is a gem of a place. The people are what really make it but it’s also one of the best restored old diners I have been to.
The malts are perfection though I wish they would bring the metal blending cup with the extras out too, the first sip will take that off your mind.
The blue cheese burger is a perfect balance of flavors. They cut the onions thin so they aren’t overpowering.
For sides the stand out was the hand-dipped onion rings, they were perfectly coated in a traditional thin layer of batter and were perfectly cooked sweet onion on the inside.
The sweet potato fries were a unique addition to the menu. Tossed in a cinnamon sugar and accompanied by caramel dipping sauce they were unlike anything I’ve had at a diner before. I liked them sans the caramel which made them too sweet for me. My mom who is a sweet potato lover found them to be far too sweet and left me to it. I had no trouble helping her out.

The Comet diner was such a fun stop to get lunch at! From the atmosphere and the friendly staff I cant recommend this place enough. The 50's style diner with the pink and blue accents was so cute and you could tell there was care taken to clean, all of the stainless steel was shiny and cleaned. The food was really good with great prices for the amount of food we got. The potato soup and bbq tots hit the spot!

This was the first time we had stopped here since it reopened years ago. I'm glad we stopped in, and we will be back. Amazing milk shakes here. Also, if you are looking for dessert, go around the north side of the building to the ice cream parlor's side entrance.

Hands down one of the best places I’ve eaten at recently. I’ve been wanting to check this place out for a while now & finally got the chance to go. The picture below is the creamsicle milk shake. Yummy! Definitely recommend the Mushroom Swiss Burger w/ fries. Our server was great & the overall atmosphere was esthetic.

Interesting 50s style diner with a small menu and an ice cream shop attached.
The prices were a bit high for simple diner fare. Plus the 13 dollar chicken tenders come with only 3 tenders?????
Any other place is 4-6 tenders.
The kids mac n cheese was bland and not cheesy at all.
The Fat Jim had a huge slice of ham but one meesly slice of bacon 🥓. Kind of messed up. It did taste good though.
So take your chances.
