The first two times i got Sparty’s Kabob I was highly satisfied with my meal (which consisted of grilled chicken kabobs, hummus, and a side salad). The flavoring on the chicken is very tasty and the hummus left a yummy taste in mouth. I was highly highly disappointed when I got the chicken kabob earlier today and found all the kabobs i had gotten were pure raw chicken. Raw. Chicken. I will probably still eat here, but it might take a minute to recover.

Just all around one of the best experiences we have had in the greater Lansing area. First I want to say we came here for the $7 restaurant week deal and we ordered the Kabsa plate that would normally cost 10$. We would definitely still buy this dish at full price.
This review will probably be long.
We called in to check availability if the deal and the gentleman advised us to come in in 30 minutes because the fresh chicken would be out. We told him we wanted to sit outdoors and he said he would set up seating for us by the front door.
When we got there it was very quiet in doors but the guy did set up a few tables outdoors just for us. We had our baby so we didn’t want to cause a commotion in doors if he cried. The gentleman complimented our baby.
When we walked in we still had to wait for the chicken to come out, but the guy delivered the food to us as soon as it was done. This prompted my fiancée to literally say “he made me feel like we were family”. And it’s true, his customer service was impeccable. It didnt matter whether we paid the 10$ or the 7$.
The dish we got is the student plate. It had our choice of rice, our choice of 2 sides, a giant piece of chicken set on the rice, and a glob of garlic paste and garlic sauce. The garlic sauce tasted like a mixture with thousand island and tasted delicious mixed into the rice. The chicken was literally fall off the bone. And all of the food was delicious. In our initial two plates we got hummus (comes with pita bread), babaganoush, Kabsa rice, Iraqi salad, and the cinnamon rice. All was delicious. The pita could be softer but that’s the only complaint I could have.
After we ate and did some shopping at fresh thyme, my fiancée literally bought another order to take home (she has never done this after a meal).
All around amazing food, service, atmosphere and experience.

I went to this place for the first time and it was wonderful, it was around lunch time. I entered to the place and a young man welcomed me, I ordered a mixture plate abit of everything and the drink was a yoghurt. Everything was tasty starting with the salad to the hummus and baba ghanosh, moving to the skewers of lamb and chicken, shawarma everything was tasty. I highly recommend this place as it was so good.

By far the best ever restaurant in East Lansing. The servers give SO MUCH FOOD, for such a low price. I always go here when I’m in the area. I recommend their all you can eat buffet for only $15!!! Make sure to get there early so you can get all the meats (lamb, grilled spiced chicken, tandoori chicken, chicken shawarma). The hummus is absolutely to die for! Love the service, love the food, love the place. More people need to know more about it.

Probably my new favorite middle Eastern restaurant in the area and there are a lot of them. Amazing food and a great value. Very friendly owner.
