I watched an employee build a two story deck at my neighbors and was impressed so I called them to fix a roofing issue. They put together a plan and started work. They ended up "fixing" an area that did not need to be fixed, and the work that they did on other parts of the roof began to leak. I now have leaks in places I did not have leaks before I hired Palmer. I attempted to have them come back and they stated that the leaks were already there ( I have documentation that the new leaks were not present before their work) and that I would have to pay them $7,400 for new repairs to the work that they "repaired". My neighbor then told me she loved her deck, but the roofing that they did resulted in another company having to repair their work. I do not recommend you hire this company for any roofing needs.

I'm not the most well-versed in attic insulation and mold remediation, fortunately I could trust this company 100%!! Dale, the job boss, oversaw the whole project, asked my opinion on how it went, explained everything to me, and came to inspect everything at the completion of the work. I am grateful to my industrial hygienist, Jeff Rostoni for recommending Palmer to me! It's a jungle out there! especially if you don't really know how to scrutinize the proposals. VERY satisfied!!

Typical contractor: talks a great game but won’t fix their mistakes. See the pictures. Is this how a brand new $5000 door should look after 18 months? The touch-up paint clearly doesn’t match and was only needed because of their careless workmanship when they touched up the trim and got white paint on the factory painted green door. The peeling white paint is also their fault. The installer insisted that the seam at the threshold didn’t need caulking (I asked him why he wasn’t doing it) because that is not real wood (it isn’t), but the water wicked up behind the paint anyway and caused the peeling. The door was manufactured by Therma-tru, who confirmed that caulking this area is in their specs. It gets better. Therma-tru doesn’t manufacture the door frame. Palmer quoted us a door assembled by Seal-Rite. But, Palmer turned around and used Lumbermen’s (who won’t return my calls), which I had to find out from Seal-Rite. Either way, we paid Palmer for a door and this is what we got, and after countless calls to Palmer, Therma-tru, Seal-Rite and Lumbermen’s, still have. Not acceptable in my opinion. And the thing is, these aren't monumental mistakes - they're easy fixes. They just won't!

I honestly don’t know where to begin with our excellent experience with Palmer Construction. They have been absolutely amazing from the moment they showed up to our house for the initial bid. Luke was amazing! I was at work and my wife had to meet Palmer at our house. They told her they smelled a gas leak and when Consumer’s arrived and didn’t initially find the leak, the gentlemen from Palmer assisted us in helping Consumer’s find the gas leak! For someone who was at work and couldn’t be here to insure the safety of my house, this set the perfect tone to demonstrate the level of professionalism and care that Palmer Construction should be know for! They have been extremely helpful in their work. They have taken lunch at a time that allowed my daughter to nap, they clean up everyday before leaving, and they have been nothing but a pleasure to work with. Not to mention their work has been perfect! My house looks and feels completely different!!! I am already receiving compliments on the exterior and interior work they have done for us.
I would give them 6/5 stars for going above and beyond the call of duty and insuring we are satisfied. I will be coming back to them first for all of our future home improvement needs. You would be doing yourself a disservice by not hiring this company to make your home better!
Thank you Palmer Construction. The Johnson family will forever be a huge fan and customer!!!

Palmer was a one-stop shop for my ..entire project: roof replacement, chimney repair, coordination with the rain gutter company. Their work was timely and painstaking, and I always felt well-educated about the process. They have an excellent team, courteous and highly efficient throughout, but a special shout out to Luke and Dale. On top of all that, their price was better than competitive. I'm very happy with the entire project, and would give them my highest recommendation.
