I don’t normally leave reviews. The massage I received left me sad and frustrated.I was not called back until 30 minutes after my scheduled time. I’m very conflicted because while the masseuse was kind and sweet, she did not stop talking throughout my massage. I am very pregnant, which was noticed and commented on -specifically how tired I was and was looking forward to relaxing. I understand that a prenatal massage has different requirements than a traditional massage but I had the thought several times that the masseuse stopped her technique for quite a while throughout the 30 minutes. I was very much looking forward to this massage but left feeling sad and trying to justify the $70 price tag for a lacking 30 minute massage. The unfortunate part is that this was a gift, if it’s possible to give the money back to the giftee I would like to go this route.

Update: DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY HERE!!!! READ THESE REVIEWS AND THEIR UNPROFESSIONAL RESPONSES! They are NOT improving. I’m so sad to see so many others having the same similar problems I had here. Do better. Be better.
I’m aware that the owner also owns the Battle Creek location & I’ve had highly uncomfortable experiences at both. With this specific location, I went in to a scheduled appointment with a $40 gift card. I was taken back 10 minutes from the time my appointment was scheduled (60 minutes massage couples massage). Once my partner and I were on the table (about 25 minutes into my 60 minute massage) we heard a knock on the door asking permission to come in to discuss “something a little uncomfortable” (their exact words). They told me that the owner had made an executive decision not to accept the $40 gift card to put towards my total. I was told I could get dressed and leave but I would still be charged full amount for “same day cancellation” or I could finish with only receiving 30 minutes of a massage for full price. I then chose to leave because of how mortified I was. At the front desk I asked if there was someone I could talk to about my experience and she told me she was not allowed to give out any contact information of the owner yet she was the only person who could handle a complaint for the business so I proceeded to leave my name and number asking for her to give me a call or email and then I waited. I received absolutely nothing until I posted a poor review. I have since deleted that review because after initially posting it, I was contacted. It wasn’t the owner aka “the only person to handle the complaints” it was a nice gal that I now forget the name of. She asked if I would delete my review and went on to offer for me to come back in and receive the service I payed for but at this point they totally forgot the point of the dispute (unwillingness to accept my gift card) which they apologized for and said they were wrong. I never got that $40, it was like it never existed. I deleted my original review in order to try and have a little more comfort in my second “first” appointment. But I have never witnessed such disregard for paying customers. I now warn others of this experience and after reading reviews, I realize MANY others have had similar experiences.

Other massage parlors allow a 10 minute grace period for appointments in case there's any forms to be filled out or if there's an unexpected delay. I was TWO minutes late for my 30 minute massage due to unexpected detour in road construction. I had to fill out a questionnaire which took about 5 minutes. My massage with Mindy began 8 minutes after my appointment time and ended 17 minutes later. I have no idea why she cut my time in half, I just assumed it was because I was TWO minutes late. I didn't care because as soon as I laid on the massage table it felt uneven like my back was being stretched or something....it just didn't feel right. To make matters worse, Mindy was way to harsh, I had to tell her to lighten up a bit. Due to the weird feel of the table and her harshness, my back is still a little sore. She never bothered to massage my arms and legs, she just focused on my back. This place don't even offer a bottle of water after a massage which is standard at other parlors. I will not be going back and do not recommend.

Not one to leave reviews but felt that this one was needed. I had gotten a gift card for Christmas and booked my appointment for the 20th of this month as they were booked out and received a phone call today stating that I needed to add a credit card on file. 4 days before my appointment. So I call and talk to them about it and she states that my 90 minute massage has gotten bumped down to a 60 because there was no card on file? When I FIRST booked my appointment no one even asked for that information other than scheduling me. I was told to call back when I got off work before they close to put a card on file to keep my 60 min massage that got bumped down so I did exactly that and was told my appointment was completely canceled. How is that even acceptable considering it’s their job to contain any information needed when booking. Very very rude person who answers the phone who is supposedly the manager. It’s very upsetting to deal with this type of experience when I come from working in a salon.

If I could give this place zero stars I would! I'd suggest to NEVER go to this location! PLEASE READ!!!!
A medical emergency with my mother happened the night before our massages so we had to rush to the other side of the state late that night.
We called the morning of the appointment to cancel and explain this awful situation but they said there is a no cancellation policy and we were charged $100. I said I would bring in medical records for proof to show of the event and they still refused to do anything for us. I completely understand policy, but in an extreme circumstance as this the fee should have been waived. We talked to the owner and she did not seem to care of the situation and will do nothing for me and my wife. This to me is very BAD business and I hope people will decide to take their business else where!
Another bad experience I've had here is when I purchased a gift card for my wife for her birthday this past year. When we went to use the gift card it was never even loaded. So I had to pay AGAIN for the massages and wait almost a week before I was refunded for the gift card I bought in the first place!
Please as a fellow human being DO NOT give this place your business!!!!
