Perfect menu size. Unique menu items (like Korean bulgogi pita or a baseball steak). Tasty food presented in an appetizing way. Friendly and quick service. Warm bread and butter served at every table. Lots of seating. Plenty of parking. Great atmosphere! It checks every box. Go here for a meal with a big group or by yourself - you won't be disappointed. Enjoy!

The could of been better for the high prices. They put the salad on top of the hot salmon and risotto, and it made the lettuce and apples warm and pretty gross to eat. I am not sure why this was done. The portion was small for the price. One tiny portion in the middle of the plate. Salmon was a bit dry and so was the risotto. The dessert was perfect. The calamari was a pretty big portion, the dipping sauce wasn't that good. Our waitress was horrible, I think she forgot all about us. She spent all of her time worrying about 2 other tables. Pretty disappointing for my Birthday dinner.

My first visit since reopening after the fire. I feel the atmosphere is a bit more upscale and a little less cabin. The food is still on point. Nice craft beer selection and the service was prompt and courteous. The restaurant is still an open floor plan with no sound control. It gets loud. Overall a good experience.

Very very busy and this was new years eve afternoon at 2 PM. Karl's was not staffed for the crowd. We had reservations and had to wait and then after seated waited a long time between seeing the server between each step in the process - taking drink orders, getting the drinks (which were 4 waters, 1 coffee, 1 tea for the 4 of us), finally taking our order, finally getting our food. No return to the table to see how everything was. Not asked if we wanted dessert, which 1 person wanted - but got our bill. The one person did order dessert and then that was another long wait. I don't think it was the server's fault - she appeared to be running ragged, serving way too many tables. A big plus for Karl's is an entire gluten free menu. The food was very good - 2 of us had bison burgers - mine on Gluten free bread -, one had the Reuben and one had steak. They said the chips were house made -- they definitely didn't seem to be - they were like out of a Ruffles bag and cold. Fries weren't offered as a choice, but then we saw others with fries. All in all it was a pleasant experience because we were with our best friends and our entres were very good. But it took 2 hours before we were done. My husband said it was like some European dining experiences where meals take hours. I liked my bison burger --- and may return for that or something else on the pleasantly large gluten free menu. But I guess I'm way too American and don't expect to spend 2 hours in getting served a meal. If Karl's would staff appropriately, I'd readily return.

Kept it simple for our first lunch on our return trip since the fire. It feels more open. Staff is still of high quality and a joy to work with as you dine with them. We had a simple lunch of hamburger, chicken sandwich and fries along with a fantastic sangria. All was wonderfully prepared and amazingly delicious. Can’t wait to go back! Word for the wise: MAKE A RESERVATION, I’d say at least a week ahead of time.
