Indian cuisine and the restaurant was cute and small but smelled amazing. Only thing the food took so long and the waitress wasn’t familiar with anything on the menu…
Could she have been new?? Not sure but if
She was they should have had her shadowing someone so she could be able to communicate the customer’s need because she had to go
to the manager for everything we asked for.
Moving on to the food it was pretty good! Now if you are a bread lover - the naan bread is ammmazing!!! Oh my god I was hooked! My
Rice and curry sauce was good and chicken was tasty. My husband had noodles and he was satisfied. The soup reminded me of smashed peas or Gerber baby food I have my babies - so
I passed on that.
The space was a little jammed while you ate customers waiting to be seated seemed to hover over you so that felt a little weird as they watched you eat while they looked hungry and anticipating you to get up.

I ordered the Sherpa Stew (veggie option) and the chili Momos. The Stew was excellent. So good that my friend ended up ordering one for himself too. It's a big portion and quite filling, so do not book too much else.
The dumplings were good too but I was full already and maybe so I was not overly impressed. Not exactly my style of flavours but all my friends loved them.
I rarely give 5 stars but this place deserves them

One of my top spots in Ann Arbor. The food is amazing. Service and employees are so kind and welcoming. Love the restaurant. Interesting location (shopping center), but the food is worth going for.
My go to is the chicken tikka masala with some garlic naan. Delicious! Have gotten the momos several times (prefer the fried option). The lime chicken specialty dish is very tasty. Have also tried the stew and lo mein. Everything is good! I love the Sherpa tea as well. Get yourself a cup!

I was craving momos and decided to try Everest Sherpa—it did not disappoint! We ordered the vegetarian fried momos and chili momos, both of which were absolutely delicious. The fillings and flavors were spot on and completely satisfied my cravings. We also tried the Butayko and Lhasa Chowmein. While the Butayko was a bit too spicy for me, the Chowmein was fantastic, with noodles cooked to perfection.
The restaurant has a nice open seating area with plenty of tables and colorful napkins, creating a charming and cozy vibe. Although we stuck to vegetarian dishes that evening, I was happy to learn they also serve halal meat—I’ll definitely try that next time.
I loved this spot and have already recommended it to everyone I know near Ann Arbor!

The food is decent. The dining area is not too huge but could accommodate around 30 people at a time. Service is good. They are professional, polite, and friendly.
The dining area is clean and tidy. Their menu has multiple options for vegetarians/vegans. The price point is medium, not too expensive but neither cheap. For the price you pay, the quantity of food you get is above expectations.
Overall, this place definitely deserves to be on your list of favorites .
