First time trying recommend by a family member. You order and either sit down they bring the food to your table. or you can take out. Ordered chicken and beef pud Thai, chicken fried rice, spicy crab wontons, hot and sour soup w/ side of spring rolls. Everything was hot and fresh. Best fried rice I've ever had. Pad Thai and would definitely order again good flavor very generous portions.

The dine-in experience that I had was amazing through the food. You order up front, choose your table and when your food is ready they bring it out to you bagged up in to-go containers. I had the crispy duck in brown sauce with veggies and white rice. It was, phenomenal and I WILL be back!!

I really wanted to like the meal that I had at Bangkok 96. Having traveled to Thailand and Laos many times, I found their menu had items I had previously eaten overseas. My favorite dish, ban kaprao mu, is extremely hard to find here in Michigan. When I saw that Bangkok 96 offered a dish with a similar name and Thai basil, I couldn't resist. However, what I received was just not very good. The menu item states there is green pepper in the dish, and honestly that was spot on. There could have been two or three sliced peppers and very little pork. There was no Thai basil anywhere in the dish that I could recognize. The sauce was bland. There were no Thai chilies, the very backbone of Thai cooking in the dish. No garlic, no onion, I couldn't taste ginger at all. Literally I think I had a pork green pepper soup. I don't think I'll be going back. I really wanted to like this place, but I cannot recommend it for traditional Thai food.

Best Thai food EVER!!! Always fresh and hot, vegetables are never frozen along with their meet and Always made to order. Favorite restaurant if all time. Known to be carryout but you can still dine in, just don't expect the high end look.

First time here.
I got the N2 and my husband got the N1.
N2 was pretty good and I liked it. N1 was a bit more towards the sweet taste and I’m not a fan of it but that’s just my preference.
The hot and sour soup was meh, I could feel the vinegar but there was something else in it that was kind of strong.
The fresh rolls with chicken was good but I wish there was a better sauce for it because the sauce that was given was sweet.
