Beautiful place, very clean and organized, and reasonably priced! Massage chairs are comfy, and I really enjoyed my mani pedi. I had a painful ingrown toenail, and they were very helpful and gentle. I’m definitely coming back!

me and my fiancée went into the shop yesterday and got our nails done. Pictured first is what I wanted, and the second picture (the black nail with the smiley face) for one nail on each hand. I was highly disappointed just off checking in. I booked an appointment online, and called the place to ask a question about the deluxe manicure compared to the regular for my fiancée. I was told there wasn’t much of a different besides a few things so I still continued to book that for my fiancée and a full set for mine. When I entered I was greeted by a man and he asked me what I wanted done so I told him I booked online and he proceeded to laugh at me and say “there is no deluxe manicure” like I hadn’t just spoken to someone yesterday who said there was. We sit down with different nail techs and I’m sat with him. He starts doing my nails and making comments about how I have smaller fingers. Immediately made me uncomfortable, I tried to show him what I wanted several times and he kept telling me to wait til the end when he got ready to paint. The entire time he was doing my nails he kept making rude remarks to me, continuing with more jokes about my fingers. The shape was fine but I later realized several of my nails are crooked which is shown in the pictures below. I also have very noticeable space in between my nail and the cuticle where he didn’t put any product. This is after ONE day. My nails look nothing like the picture, and at the end when it got time to do the design, he tried several times and was unable to do what I was asking. And said “if you would of showed me the design earlier I would of told you it wouldn’t work” even though several times before we got to this point I had tried to show him the design. I ended up paying $65 dollars for these nails which are basic and not at all like the picture. For a regular manicure my fiancées were $40. Over priced and just not good work! I’m very unsatisfied with my experience and the nails themselves. And for those of you going to say why didn’t you say that, I have anxiety and I barely was able to speak up about the design being wrong.

Almond Nail Spa is in my opinion, on of THE best nail salons in Kalamazoo. They are clean, kind, professional and willing to accommodate your needs. Sometimes I go in not know what I want but they always figure it out and deliver. Don’t think twice if you’re undecided, give them a try. Also, they are reasonably priced too 🗣️🗣️ even with the cost of designs.

Do your self a favor and don't even think to go there. Please help this place to SHUT DOWN !! Look what the did to my nails when I asked to take it off!! They violate all safety measurements in thier services!! I hope some safety inspector check them for such violations! She DID Not use acetone or anything. She just tried to pull it off by hand !!!!! Then used a plier on one nail and pulled one by her hand , she did my other finger with the tool and my nails started to bleed. I left before completing the service! Very unprofessional service!!

I took my friend to the nail salon for her birthday and this is a Full service salon that my insurance agent for my car thank you Kerrie!! i’m so I had the money so I went there and they did an excellent job. I did not feel uncomfortable. I didn’t feel judged because I’m a chronic nailbiter and I get really anxious just when people touch me just because of all the been through but these people they’re so nice they’re genuine. They don’t get mad at you. You’re like hard of hearing or like you can’t understand like they’re awesome. They’re so kind. They’re very welcoming. they also make doing your nails quick and painless because I always hated the part when my cuticles get dug into or when they did the nail files, but they made sure that I was comfortable and then when I was in the store, I don’t know what her name is I forgot but she was a very nice older lady probably around my mom‘s age and she had this really cute bag so I was like I like your purse and we started having a conversation me her and this other girl and my roommate and we were in there a little bit about me so I was telling I’m on hospice care everybody in this place told me that they were praying for me and then after my nails done when I was going to go wash my hands, somebody paid it forward She bought me a gift card
she handed it to me and she was like here you go and I thought it was just like a card or something. No she paid for my nails. The service is top-notch. I will definitely be going back here every once in a while to treat myself on because life is unpredictable you don’t know it’s gonna happen but like I hope this lady sees this on Google because I know she said she went every week so that’s why I mentioning her to maybe see if she will see this but it was great talked about helping the homeless I talked about getting married. I talked about my health journey and nobody judged me and like they said they’re very gentle and they have really nice music playing in the background. I’m so thankful that this place got recommended to me because I will never go to the other salon again that’s near my house not saying their service is bad but this was a very special time for me and these people who run this shop are so kind , I am very impressed wish I could give more than 5 stars!
