I wish I could give all 5 stars. Great waitresses the last couple Times I’ve been there-I’d give them 5 stars for their service, but older staff there (seems like it might be a manager -is going to run their help right out of there.) I watched them not only be rude to their younger coworkers (which made them upset) but started shutting lights off at 8:30 and gave us our bill. We weren’t asked about desert and were basically kicked out of there. Ripped my receipt right out of my hand when I went to pay and acted very irritated.

Stopped in for breakfast. Service was excellent. Food was delicious. We ordered pancakes, biscuits and gravy, and a western omelet. Coffee was always filled! Recommend you stopping in too 💚💯💯

Apollo’s Restaurant has been in business in Davison for a very long time since about 1975. I’ve eaten here and had great food and I’ve eaten here and had food that was just ok. The food lately has tasted good for your classic family diner. Today, I had a grilled cheese sandwich with fries and mushroom soup. The soup was not your typical mushroom soup with a creamy base. The soup had a thinner base and more vegetables. It was pretty good and tasted homemade. The grilled cheese was on sourdough bread and I could only eat half of it. The fries were hot but not my favourite part of the meal. My family member had a hot roast beef sandwich that was good. The food was delivered quickly. I have also had the vegetable wrap and spinach salad which are two good options. I would return here again for breakfast or lunch.

Sttod waiting to be seated as 3 ladies were checking out the girl at the checker just ignored me. Then someone on the other end of the restaurant waved me to a table. No hello, no greeting
Just ',your waitress will be here in a minute'. No favored creamers, staff lacking friendly atmosphere and personality. Should have went to Leos.

Food and prices are good, but the staff definitely needs training in customer service. I had been waiting for 25 min for my food, and politely said to my waitress “gee it’s taking a long time for an omelette”. I thought she might say Something like yes, let me go check. But instead, in a very terse voice , she scolded me and said “ Ma’am, we are very busy here. We have a party of 17 in the back and another party of seven and everyone came at once”. I felt like I shouldn’t have asked, and I was put in my place. That being said, I will not be returning. No one needs to pay money to get scolded on a Saturday morning.
