Charming little family restaurant in Freeland. As my son and I ate an early dinner, we heard the regulars talking to the waitresses and they were all on a first name basis. The food was good! My kiddo loved the peanut butter pie and also enjoyed watching the pet squirrel eating corn outside. Our waitress was attentive and nice. Recommend.

Our waitress was great. Restaurant was clean and it was a nice place to have dinner with friends. Chicken Parmesan was a little disappointing. Chicken was good but the marinara sauce appeared to be tomato sauce from a can with zero flavor. Maybe I am being too critical but usually everywhere I order chicken Parmesan it’s a meat sauce and definitely homemade sauce. Should have ordered the peanut butter pie.

Wow. We were drawn in by the list of pies we saw on MLive’s article on the restaurant, but we were blown away by the service, selections, and food. Our waitress was amazing, did a great job in explaining things but also giving us space to enjoy our food. Amazing! We were there during lunch but went with breakfast food. The Hash and All That was delish, the corned beef hash really shined. I loved my western omelet- it was really balanced and flavorful. The toast was homemade with homemade jam- of which we bought a jar on the way out. Don’t miss the polish sausage, it was excellent. My favorite bite was from the biscuits and gravy- better than my own!!!! We got raspberry pie and coconut cream pie to go because we were too full to eat there.
Go here, support a local business, and enjoy your meal.

I haven't been here in years, so I brought my husband for date night. We were not disappointed! The food was delicious and the portion sizes are decent to generous. Of course, we had to get pie too. This was honestly the best banana cream pie I think I've ever had. We'll be back!

Came for breakfast on Saturday around noon. This is a really nice, clean place. The breakfast menu could use some improving as they don’t offer meat with any of their breakfast entrees. Any meat is an add on, I believe it was $3.79 on top of your order. This is not the norm anyplace else we go. The wait for food was quite long, the place was packed and it appeared they couldn’t keep up.
The lumberjack omelette was quite a bit smaller than other places, about half the size of other places we have been. It was also overcooked. The second order we had included eggs, potato and toast and added bacon to my order. My eggs were also overcooked. The rest was good but since both of our egg orders were overcooked this tells me they need to work on this.
We have been waiting for our bill the entire time I have wrote this review (and then some). This place appears popular so I can only think they do better but something is off today.
