They’re known for their chicken and it’s almost like a thanksgiving style meal for the all you can eat option.
I thought the fried chicken was a little salty, but it was very juicy inside. The location itself and the service made up for the food. The atmosphere was amazing. A nice traditional feel alongside and upscale old Victorian vibe.
Service from our waiter was exceptional. Very attentive and never over bearing but ensured we were satisfied with everything
If you come for dinner, you’re probably gonna eat quite a bit, so go for a stroll down the Main Street for some shopping and other good stuff
Great job overall

I have a chance to come here and try the food , I will say that the food is fine. Maybe It doesn’t meet our expectations because we are foreigners and we are impressed by the architecture and the service here. The atmosphere is warm, very ideal for a big family “all you can eat “. People are nice and thoughtful. I highly recommend. Love from Findlay.

Not too imposing on the outside but this place is huge! 2 levels. Restaurant on top level and cafeteria style seating on the lower level. I had their famous fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, slaw, bread, cranberry sauce and tea. All were really good. The store side is large with excellent baked goods like bread, pastry and cake section. Also sauces, gifts, apparel, pottery, trinkets, themed gifts. Just massive for a restaurant gift shop.

The original building dates back to the 1800s with many renovations and additions since then. The servers dress in period clothing and are very friendly and efficient. We had the 6 salad croissant sandwiches which were delicious. Pricing was very reasonable for the area. A very nice shopping area downstairs including a bakery.

We recently enjoyed the family style all you can eat chicken dinner at Zehnder’s.
I upgraded my meal to the feast that added endless shrimp and ribs to my meal. They start off with a great appetizer offering with several items including chicken noodle soup. My favourite was their coleslaw and the cranberry relish.
The meal was really nice, loved the Chicken, the breaded shrimp were large and tasty. The homemade mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetable was corn on the cob, the corn tasted fresh and firm like it was made only moments before it hit the table. The ribs were my least favourite but they were fall off the bone tender and the bbq sauce was nice.
What was left at the end of the meal we packed up and had a nice doggy bag to take back to our hotel room.
After dinner we went downstairs to the nice market place below and picked up a few treats for the next day.
I highly recommend Zehnder’s in Frankenmuth MI. there’s definitely value in this dining experience, we can’t wait until our next visit.
