The best Cajun fries I've ever had. Super friendly staff. My waitress brought a sample of their. Mac and Cheese with chicken. It was great. My only issue was with my blackened fish. One piece was well seasoned, but the other two were not. Otherwise I would give them a 5 stars
For a place that I saw a whole hog coming out of the back, I had pretty high hopes. Very interesting decor with tons of antique salt and pepper shakers adorning the walls. Unfortunately, we were incredibly disappointed with the food and service. Our waitress was very unfriendly and short with us. The prices, for what you get, were outrageous. $7 for a glass of draft root beer! ? $20 for a small breakfast skillet that was under seasoned. $10 for a cup of soup! $25 for a basic pulled beef sandwich and fries, which was not very good at all. The coleslaw literally came in a condiment cup that you might see ketchup in. Why so stingy? They also used bitter chocolate chips in the kids pancakes.... Why? I would look elsewhere, there are plenty of other dining options around for a reasonable price.
This place was next level in many levels. There were so many gluten free options I had a tough time choosing. The pimento mac and cheese (with bacon) was so creamy and delectable, you don't miss the gluten at all. The same can be said for the gluten free fried chicken. It was apparent that the folks working there love this place, and are huge fans of the food. Lots of local, or specialized sourcing really shines through.
We enjoyed a lovely lunch here outside on the patio. Our waiter was incredibly friendly, attentive and very pleasant. The food is super yummy and the portions are huge. The prices are somewhat high. However, the quality of the food outweighs the price. They have lots of Gluten Free/Friendly options on their menu. I highly recommend Zingerman's. I always take family and friends here who are visiting from out of town and they love it.
Amazing food! Staff was attentive and personable. Best collard greens I've ever had. Steaks were perfect. We will definitely be coming back
