Chicken tenders and fries; Mexican Omelette; and Banana and Walnut Pancakes. All good! Nice and hot. Nice people. The banana and walnut pancakes have real thick slices of banana and huge chunks of walnut. Sausage was great thick pieces. Mexican Omelette, the Monterey jack cheese was nice stretchy not commercialized. The real deal, real cheese. Delicious. Chicken tenders and fries were so good. Good BBQ sauce.its was $37 for those and one milk and a tea.
Second time we went... Texas sandwich with grilled chicken and ham and substitute a different cheese. Sweet Chili Chicken wrap. Onion rings. Coleslaw. So good. Our new place. Worth the money. We love Janie, our server. Gave us coffee to go and our little one got two suckers from her. She's super sweet. Good coleslaw too.

I have been enjoying Flamingo's for many years. The waitstaff are friendly and happy to take care of people. The food is good and the wait is short. I go there for breakfast a lot. I like the pancakes, the gyro omelet, the original breakfast special with onions on the potatoes. So yummy! They do take out and door dash as well if you don't have time to sit down, but you should sit down and enjoy the company☺️

This was my first time eating at the Flamingo and it was worth it. Having driven by it for years, a chance day off with my wife, lured us in. We first went to the Sunrise Coney Island, but they were cash only. As this is the 21st Century, cash only places don't get my business. We drove past the Senate Coney Island, but at 9:30 in the morning, there wasn't a single car in the parking lot. Onto the Flamingo!
The restaurant is clean, decorated in an upbeat style. The server was great and attentive. The menu is large, prompting a return visit in the future to try their lunch or dinner options. We decided to have breakfast. My ham and cheese omelet was cooked perfectly and the hash browns are excellent. They are made up of thinly sliced potatoes. The rye bread was really outstanding. Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside it was toasted perfectly. If you are in the area and hungry, give the Flamingo a chance. Their food is delicious and the wait staff are friendly.

This was our second time dining there, I forgot how much I loved this place! The food is perfect. The Veggie omelet was fresh and fluffy, fries perfectly crispy, toast thick and fresh.
The staff is also exceptional and accommodating in every way.
We visit Michigan (from NYC) every year, so we'll be sure to put this stop on regular rotation.

The wait staff was very friendly and prompt with the food. Food left much to be desired. The roasted potatoes were very tough and dry. They seemed as if left over from a previous day and reheated in a microwave. Very disappointing. The street corn appetizer was a huge disappointment also as it was gluppy and tasteless. It almost seemed as if the dumped a can of creamed corn in a bowl added a few ingredients and microwaved it. The walleye was over fried. I don't think I would come back. I loved the people there, but they need to fire the chef and get someone in that knows how to cook. I would have sent the potatoes back, but no one asked how the food was. It seemed all the friendly staff disappeared after the food came out. Maybe they were tired of hearing how bad the food is.
