Great place to eat. Food was very good, big portions and neat hockey atmosphere. Busy place with lots of take out happening but very prompt service. Definitely well organized. Chicken Delite was great. Be prepared to take some home as portions are very generous. Will definitely be going back when in Windsor.

Stopped by for Dinner at the Penalty Box and it was an amazing experience. Ordered the chicken breast dinner with the soup and spaghetti, 3 pieces of broasted chicken with mashed potatoes and coleslaw, New fried famous chicken delight with soup. Every dish was perfect and filled 3 adults and 1 child with leftovers. Soup with pastini noodles was a first for me and it was quite a great experience to have that as a base for the soup just could have been a bit more hot before serving. Broasted chicken and chicken breast was exceptional, perfectly seasoned and tasted great. New fried chicken delight with their secret sauce is an amazing creation, the crunch with the sauce, chicken and fresh vegetables goes very well together. All together the total came to about $59 which was such a great price for all this food. Service was fast and amazing. Will be back soon for more. 4.5 Stars.

Windsor’s Penalty box Restaurant has the best chicken delight and Gyros in the City. I always have a difficult time trying to decide which one to order.Today was the chicken delight dinner. The sandwich was very fresh, the fries were just right and the Greek salad was excellent.

If you haven't been to the Walker St Penalty Box, I suggest you giver a try! I hadn't been literally in years since working in Windsor, and my family had just finished the OFSSA track meet down the street and I thought to myself, "self, what would make this day perfect? Chicken Delight of course!" And my hesitant family allowed me to take them somewhere new. We entered off the newly (could be years old) changed entrance that makes entering much more friendly and were seated immediately at the perfect booth to watch multi sports on the bar side. I convinced them both to try the Chicken Delight since that was what I was introduced to by Windsor natives stating that it was an institution. Man was I right! and exactly the freaking same as I recall! Even down to the perfect Greek dressing that I cannot emulate at home. Do yourself a favour and make a trip. We went at 3 pm on a Saturday and there were not many seats open so if going at a meal time, call ahead.

The quality and quantity of food served here will make you come back for more. Simone, our server, expertly took care of our dining needs. She anticipated our next questions and requests. I am impressed by the turkey sandwich that was made with real, roasted turkey, not with thin sliced meat. The Caesar salad was delicious with fresh ingredients. The lemon chicken rice soup tasted homemade with perfect seasoning. The BLT pita was absolutely delicious. It tasted healthy with fresh vegetables and real turkey meat. I highly recommend this restaurant to all diners, not just sports fans.
