Had an unforgettable dining experience at the Sheldon Standard Restaurant! We shared nearly every dish on the menu, and everything was absolutely delicious. The standout dishes were the beef tartar, the rabbit ragu, and the crispy duck – each bite was a revelation. The raspberry dessert was truly to die for; we nearly ordered another because we couldn't decide who should have the last bite. Highly recommend this gem for anyone seeking a top-notch culinary adventure!

Food was delicious but it was still hard to look past the price point, despite the quality. For 5 small plates, 2 drinks and 1 dessert, the bill was $164, without tip. Yoinkssss. That said, if you are looking for a special occassion to splurge, I’d recommend.
We got the beet salad, mushrooms, squid ink pasta, gnocchi and walleye. All were great, though the texture on the squid ink pasta felt a bit off. A bit chewy? Undercooked? Not sure. Perhaps that is just the textural nature of squid ink.
The beet salad was amazing but salt level was different from bite to bite. The salt could have been flakier and better distributed.
Mushrooms were 11/10. The cashew sauce was reminiscent of Greek skordalia.
Pana cotta was incredible- the fresh mint did it for me.

We loved it! Great quality of food, creative dishes and awesome concept of sharing the dishes with others. Make sure to try the homemade sourdough bread when you are there 🥰 I also want to point out that the staff is extraordinarily friendly.

Cannot go to bed tonight without writing this review first. Sat at the bar and service was impeccable. Bartender/waitstaff really knew the menu well. Ordered the trout, beet salad, and gnocchi all of which were flavorful and texturally perfect. For dessert, ordered the upside down carrot cake and pavlova. Ate every last bite even though we were already full. We will be coming back and bringing friends!

We had an excellent dinner here while in town for work. The service was very good. Our server, Mark, took great care of us. Drinks and the meal were delicious. The gnocchi was my favorite, but every dish was cooked and presented well.
The 4 stars for atmosphere was simply because the music was too loud. It was very difficult to converse without yelling.
