We ordered the corned beaf delight sandwich, tuna salad sandwich and upgraded to a french onion soup and fries on the side, all incredible. The corned beef sandwich was so juicy, bread was toasted perfect, generous portions. Tuna salad exceeded our expectations. Food was so good we ate everything without having leftovers. Great prices and you can tell food is prepared with love. Staff are so friendly at this restaurant and it has the most magical 90’s diner vibe. Truly a hidden strip mall gem 👏🏻

Got the Greek chicken wrap with sweet potato fries and my friend got a turkey and ham club with fries. Both meals were amazing! The food was fresh, prompt service, friendly staff, and great customers service. The fries are crispy!!

This place was nice for a sit down breakfast. We had eggs benedict and a turkey club omelette and shared the corned beef hash. Everything was fresh and came out tasting very good. Service was great and our waiter was nice. I wish they renovated the place it needs some updating but other than that it was a nice visit. We will be back for sure.

Visiting Detroit and was looking at food options nearby. Charlie's had great reviews and did not disappoint. The corned beef and Swiss was excellent. The fries were good also. I had the soup of the day which was clam chowder. It was very good. I saw many dishes being served and all looked good. Chicken noodle soup is definitely on my next visit. Family owned local restaurant that is an excellent choice. You won't be disappointed.

My wife and I switched from Oak Diner to Charlie’s and I’d highly recommend others come to Charlie’s first. The food is excellent with massive portion sizes. They give you a whole plate of fries as your side for the combo and soup, boy do they deliver. They have 3-5 soups per day and it’s not a cup with your combo, it’s an entire huge bowl. Sandwiches are packed with fresh cut meat not deli sliced turkey. Everything we’ve gotten here is excellent!
Service is top notch as well. You’ll get your drinks minutes from sitting down and they are ready for your order. We’ve come when it’s packed and it never takes long for food. They get your soup/salad within minutes of ordering.
Great spot and I’d come here first compared to the other local spots which offer less for the money.
