Jody’s group did an amazing job for us. We had a very big roof and the job was completed in 2 days. His crew was very professional and their cleanup was amazing . I think they left the outside of my home and deck cleaner than when they arrived. Top notch service from all involved.

This is in regards to Fascia/Soffit and Siding:
The end result was a good job but of all the companies we have dealt with on our remodel they were the worst to deal with.
Went with VeenKamp as they had the best quote and assured us they could work with our timeline. Communication was not great throughout, all contact was done through the salesman and both he and his replacement confirmed it was because the project lead should never speak to the customer. We found this to be true as their Project lead was rude, disrespecting the work my father-in-law had done and tangentially rambling off Bible verses. We removed siding ourselves as it was aluminum and we had the means to do so. We discussed this with the salesman and he figured out a date that they could do the house wrap. However, only one guy was sent to do the job and it took him two days to do and and used three different house wrap products. They then gave us the run around for three months on siding availability, when it was originally assured that we'd only have to have the house sitting without siding for less than a month. The crew that eventually came and did the work were great guys and they are the only reason this isn't a 1-or-2-star review. End product was good, but not an enjoyable process. Would not recommend. Picture included is how our house looked for three months from the main entrance to our subdivision, with the three types of underlayment on full display.

We were very happy with the entire experience with Veenkamp Roofing. Their communication during the bidding process and before the roof install was excellent. Their work was excellent, and we are thoroughly satisfied with our new roof, skylights and gutters. Their price was very fair, and there was no high pressure at all when Andy came to our house and went over the different options. They also were very flexible in working around a schedule that worked for us. Excellent work from a company that is clearly committed to excellence!

We had our roof installed on 6/11/24 in Interlochen. I was awed the Veenkamp crew was willing to provide services so far into Northern Michigan. They completed the job, which included a steep A-frame pitch, in just two days and the new roof looks amazing! Ryan answered all my questions early on and made the estimate process simple and straight-forward. Wade was patient with me when I had questions about the warranty early on in the process; it seemed too good to be true, but he provided assurance it was not. Tommy was also patient with my many detail-oriented questions as he helped plan the timing and materials-drop for the project. Everyone on the labor crew was friendly and professional, though we were not home for much of the actual process; they worked tirelessly and late into the evening to get the job completed. The crew noticed additional things that needed to be fixed and took care of it so our house is sealed and secured. I was really impressed by the extra steps they took - going above and beyond! Kimberle has been a great communicator and coordinator throughout the process, including helping me with forms for our insurance company to get a rate reduction for having upgraded the impact rating to Class 4 (go for it - it is WORTH it!). This was a massively looming project for us homeowners to wrap our brains around, but everyone at Veenkamp made the process easy and were great to work with. We received several estimates before electing Veenkamp and they had them all beat in terms of price, product, and warranty; plus, there was no high pressured sales pitch. Through some of those sales pitches we sat through, we learned that the reviews we'd read on Google about those companies are solicited with discounts or rebates. Veenkamp did nothing like that. This review is purely from my own heart and is honest. I imagine this company doesn't have to pressure people or offer discounts for good reviews because they are genuinely that good. In a world where it can be hard to know what's real and who to trust, I feel confident we went with the best company for our roofing job. We remain grateful to Veenkamp Roofing and Siding. "Exceeded my expectations in both quality of work and attention to detail" while installing my vinyl siding. Speaking from experience of over 40 years in the building products industry, and as a detailed obsessed do-it-yourselfer, I was impressed by the whole process, from the initial visit to the finished job. They listened, asked questions on how I wanted it to look, and everything turned out as planned. They did not cut corners, and they completed the job as quoted and on time.
Their pricing was very competitive, and I would use them again.
