I am doing work in the area and looked up Iron House. I was very impressed with the equipment and the space. All do the equipment was well maintained and front desk was helpful. It’s nice to find places like this when I travel on the road. Also like the garage doors open for an extra breeze. Highly recommend!

No matter what your life circumstances are, they will not let you out of contract. Unless you know, for a fact that your circumstance is not gonna change and that you are going to go to that gym for an entire year or you can pre-pay I would not use this gym. Again there is no wiggle room. I explained my circumstances in hopes that they would be kind and let me out of the contract, but basically I was told there was nothing they could do and I either had to pay $150 to get out of it or just pay the remainder of the year month-to-month. There was absolutely absolutely no exception to this rule so I would not use this gym unless you’re financially set and It doesn’t matter if something happens in life that makes you not be able to go to the gym or pay the monthly fee Because you’re going to pay anyway.

Me and my husband bought a year long membership. Then realized I don't like working out somewhere without climate control, a spot to fill my water bottles, or anyone who will teach the equipment first. Un-staffed most hours left me frustrated and unmotivated.

Just signed up today, moved to Saint Johns a week ago and was pointed towards this place when asking about a gym. Glad i was - was greeted immediately by the two owners when i came in. No salespitch, no change of voice to be more 'customer friendly,' just straight talk about what they offer, which i appreciated (this is NOT the usual behavior of gym employees in my experience). The equipment is functional and down to earth, they are not trying to be fancy. Locker rooms, cubbies, tanning (my wife was excited about that, it's i don't need a tanner), even punching bags. This place seems that it will be an actual workout gym and not a social club, which i am very excited about. Good equipment, good customer service, good pricing for a family. I plan to be here for many years.

Owner is very mean, kicked my husband out for no reason who is a veteran. This place needs to be closed down. Has a cross the line policy in the membership, if you look at the owner wrong he will kick you out. He has the right not to renew your membership if he simply doesn't like you. No way to run a gym and no way to run a business.
