The staff is helpful, and the hours are great, this is a wonderful functional fitness gym. However, the men's locker room is constantly like this, especiallyin the morning. The lockers are undersized and as such, under utilized because of how small they are, and how big the customer bags are used to carry gear.

Best gym in Lansing hands down! When I look for a gym I want somewhere I can get lost in a workout and have a good time doing it. This gym is SO clean, has awesome equipment and the nicest fellow gym goers around. The owners go above and beyond to answer any questions & make sure you have an awesome experience. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

If you’re local you have to check out this gym! I was visiting family from out of town and the owner Scott helped me when I called (even though he was busy in a meeting) wondering if I could purchase a day pass to stay on track (no excuses right?!). The environment is incredibly welcoming and eclipsed only by the wonderful service! I wish I could be a regular, in fact I’ll always come here when I’m visiting Lansing.
The gym is incredibly clean and the ladies dressing room is spotless and has a beautiful sauna and separate sink and “mirror” area with many outlets to freshen up. The equipment is top notch and everyone’s super friendly. The building is safe too with a buzz in system and locking door. Incredible location and thoughtful execution!

Was looking for a new gym to go to in Lansing Area. When I walked in I was greeted by the nicest staff. They have great workouts and equipment. The gym is kept to a high standard and is very clean. By far the cleanest and nicest gym in Lansing. I would highly recommend this gym to everyone.

This place is legit top notch in the area. **I do not mean for any of the following to be a diss/rip on any other gyms/fitness clubs in the area - I'm just comparing** First, Scott (one of the owners) is wonderful and will accommodate you in whatever way gets you able to fully use the facilities. Second, as someone who is mainly into using racks, free weights and not machines - the gear in this place is supreme. Everything is either Rogue or some other high durability brand of contraption. It seems like most gyms in the area are interested in leveraging their square footage for more machines, sacrificing the availability of ample space for free weight and mobility exercises. M43 in Lansing is a small space but it's setup utilizes its floorplan in a way where you don't feel on top of anyone else. Third, they have/allow chalk. That may seem like a small detail, but literally no other gyms in the area have this feature. I need chalk to get a good workout with bars. Lastly, the locker rooms are immaculate and show M43s attention to detail. The locker rooms (and entire gym for that matter) are immaculately clean. The sauna is lovely and maintained. The showers even stock nice brand (eg Aveno) shampoo, condition and body wash to use.
One last detail - entry is based on either using a fob or a phone app. The use of a phone app is slick because I always have my phone on me, so it's just a nice touch.
It's really just the attention to detail and accomodations at M43 that make it like no other gym in Lansing right now. It's a must if you wish your gym had less machines and more open racks and bars to use.
