Stopped in here on the way back home. My Fiance had the tuna melt. She said it was okay but she didn’t love the cheese on it. I got the NY Rueben. I was not impressed. Quality of the meat was not great at all. The servers were not friendly besides one older lady. The cashier was a gem. The food just wasn’t great. We wouldn’t recommend this deli. The breakfast looked good on menu but we didn’t try. The bathroom was disgusting. It smelled like pee and it seemed there was piss all over it. Not sure what was going on there.

Great atmosphere and service was fantastic. Everyone was friendly and smiling and incredibly easy to interact with. The food was magnificent, and the only advice I can give is to stop by and try it for yourself. This was my first time here, but I promise it won't be my last.

I had the most amazing breakfast at the stateside deli! Let me tell you, I ordered the happy hash with basted eggs, and it was absolutely delicious. And those sausage links Oh my goodness, they were incredibly tasty. To top it off, the toast was so good, it practically screamed "holla!" The service was exceptional - fast and friendly. I never had to worry about my coffee running low because it was always topped up. And let me tell you about the kitchen staff - they were incredibly nice. I felt so welcomed and taken care of. I'm definitely coming back to the stateside deli the next time I find myself in Okemos and in need of a good meal.

Today, I was at Stateside Okemos with a friend. It was not very busy when we were there. It was difficult to have someone acknowledge our presence. We ordered @ 11:15. Our food arrived at 11:55. There did bot appear to be a reason for the delay other than the cook. None of the orders was sitting on "order up" area waiting to be picked up. This service is unusual in our experience. Food was good.

So we've been here twice in the last month and have loved it. I first came here as a recommendation to try their impossible burger, but then I realized they had a Vegan Reuben and I had to try that first. It was so good, and the bread was perfectly toasted and everything. The next time I came and got the Impossible burger and of course they didn't disappoint. The staff are so welcoming and patient and they make you want to come back for the atmosphere and not just the food. And then the carrot cake....it lasted on the table for maybe a minute lol. It was moist and light and delicious. Definitely, check them out because it's great food. It comes to you timely and it's nice being around nice people who really care ☺️
